Newly Built Gangneung Apartment ‘Ocean City I-Park’ Remaining Units Popular [Scenic View of the Beach Near an Apartment in Gangneung]

According to the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG), as of the end of July, the average private apartment sale price nationwide is 18.74 million KRW per 3.3㎡, and in Seoul, it is 43.93 million KRW, marking a sharp increase of 37.62% compared to the same month last year. Additionally, the metropolitan area averages 27.73 million KRW per 3.3㎡, up 2.49% from the previous month and 23% from the same month last year.

The rise in sale prices is due to increases in labor and material costs as well as the impact of high interest rates, resulting in a 37% increase compared to a year ago, and the upward trend in sale prices is expected to steepen for the time being.

Recently, the term Eoljuksin (meaning "newly built no matter what") has emerged, reflecting a growing preference for newly built apartments. This phenomenon occurs because newly built apartments offer designs and various amenities that meet the needs of actual buyers, making them more comfortable and pleasant to live in, which also leads to higher sale prices compared to older apartments.

In this context, the newly launched "Gangneung Ocean City I’PARK" in Gangneung, Gangwon-do, is attracting attention. It is gaining popularity not only locally but also in Seoul and the metropolitan area due to its residential satisfaction and excellent future value.

This complex is located right in front of Anmok and Songjeong Beaches, allowing residents to enjoy various marine leisure activities. Walking along the pine forest trail by the seaside offers a healthy lifestyle and relaxation. Moreover, within walking distance are Anmok Beach caf? street, Gangneung Port yacht marina, and Haemaji Park, providing a leisurely living environment.

As the real estate market shifts to an upward trend, factors such as the number of households, scale, brand, and surrounding environment significantly influence housing prices. "Ocean City I’PARK" is popular due to its total of 794 households, the I’PARK brand, and its rarity being located right by the sea.

Furthermore, with a 5% down payment, interest-free intermediate payments, and free balcony provision, consumer burdens are reduced, leading to continued contracts for the remaining units.

Local real estate industry experts predict, "Ocean City I’PARK is expected to have an even brighter future, which is why contract signings continue," and they foresee it becoming a premium apartment representing Gangneung.
