Kyungnam University to Recruit 2,083 Freshmen for 2025 Early Admission

Overseas Cultural Experience Support for All Interested Freshmen During Enrollment

Kyungnam University will conduct the '2025 Freshman Early Admission' from September 9 to 13.

Kyungnam University to Recruit 2,083 Freshmen for 2025 Early Admission Gyeongnam University Police Station.

Applications can be submitted online 24 hours a day through the admissions website or Jinhak Apply, and will be accepted until 6:00 PM on the deadline, September 13. For various matters related to admission, inquiries can be made to the admissions office.


For the 2025 academic year, Kyungnam University will select 2,083 students, which is 96.7% of the total 2,155 available spots, in order to foster 'creative and convergent future talents' who can meet the demands of future education and industry and create new value.


Across all colleges, including Humanities and Social Sciences, Health and Medical Sciences, Education, Business, Public Talent, Engineering, AI·SW, Creative Convergence, and Future Life, the university will recruit ▲938 students through the General Track, ▲404 students through the Regional Talent Track, and ▲205 students through the General Interview Track, all based 100% on academic records.


The Holistic Student Record (General Track) will select 122 students based on 100% evaluation of the school life record (30% academic competency, 40% career competency, 30% community competency).


Additionally, Kyungnam University has established the Department of Cultural Heritage Restoration Arts to nurture talents who will excel in the 'practical field of cultural heritage restoration,' and the Department of Emergency Medical Services to protect public health and lives through medical knowledge, emergency medicine, rescue, and relief.


For the successful future of students, all 2025 freshmen will be supported for overseas cultural experiences upon request during their studies, and all freshmen in the Liberal Studies Division will receive a scholarship of 1 million KRW per semester and the opportunity to participate in a training program at the American sister university (FDU).


Freshmen in the College of AI·SW Convergence, including the Department of Computer Engineering, Department of Artificial Intelligence, Department of Future Automotive Engineering, and Department of Game Studies, will receive a scholarship of 1 million KRW per semester and may also be eligible for up to 1 million KRW in SW Mileage Scholarships.


Currently, Kyungnam University is focusing on innovative challenges and specialization in four areas?education, research, industry-academia cooperation, and governance?with the goal of leading the digital transformation of industry in Gyeongnam. In particular, the university is concentrating on advanced industrial fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), manufacturing ICT, and software, accelerating not only regional industrial development but also the cultivation of innovative talents.
