Singer Younha's "Sageon-ui Jipyeongseon" (Event Horizon) will be included in a high school Korean language textbook.
On the 6th, Younha's agency, C9 Entertainment, announced, "The lyrics of 'Sageon-ui Jipyeongseon,' the title track of Younha's 6th repackaged album, will be included as a literary passage in the 2022 revised edition of the Chunjae Education high school Korean language textbooks 1 and 2 (Kim Suhak) next year."
The lyrics of "Sageon-ui Jipyeongseon" will be used in the textbook for creative application questions such as "the situation faced by the speaker of the work and the speaker's attitude," and "based on the meaning of the content and the title 'Sageon-ui Jipyeongseon,' what aspects in one's own life are distinguished by the 'Event Horizon'?" There is also content comparing the lyrics of modern popular songs with the classical poem "Dongjitdal Ginagin Bameul" (On the Longest Night of the Winter Solstice).

"Sageon-ui Jipyeongseon" is the title track of Younha's 6th studio album released in 2022. The term "Sageon-ui Jipyeongseon" originally comes from astrophysics. It is also commonly referred to as the "event horizon." It denotes the outer boundary of a black hole. After its release, the song gained consumer attention, climbed back up the charts, and reached number one on music charts. It remains a song frequently discussed among fans.
"Sageon-ui Jipyeongseon" also attracted attention for its Korean lyrics written directly by Younha. Last year, Younha was selected as a "Celebrity Who Loves the Korean Language" by announcers.
Meanwhile, on the 1st, Younha released her 7th studio album, "GROWTH THEORY." She is currently continuing her activities by performing live stages of the album's title track "Taeyang Mulgogi" (Sunfish) on various music shows.
