Held for 3 Days from the 6th at Gochang Eupseong Area
The "2nd Gochang Healing Culture Festival" will be held for three days from the 6th to the 8th at Gochang-eupseong Fortress area in Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk. It is a healing time festival to find the lost self, exhausted by the complexities of modern society, to recognize what senses have been lost, and to connect with the world.
The theme of the festival is "The Five Senses Connecting Me and the World." Visitors can momentarily release the tension of body and mind and face themselves and the world through various senses.
The first day, the 6th, begins with a "Citizen Networking Program." It includes expert lectures, presentations of best practices, and a talk concert. From the second day, the 7th, experiential events and various performances will be held in earnest. The opening ceremony at 7 PM on the 7th will be illuminated by famous singers such as Yang Da-il, Norazo, and Joo Hyun-mi.
There will be abundant food booths and a flea market, providing visitors with a variety of food and entertainment. The use of reusable containers is encouraged throughout the event, embedding ESG values into the festival.
In addition, many experience booths will be installed and operated inside and outside the fortress, including ▲Cultural City Themed Exhibition ▲Five Senses Experience ▲Sanhaejinmi (Forest and Marine Healing) ▲Popup (Healing Yoga) ▲Aurora Exhibition ▲Busking ▲Five Senses Rest Area, Children's Playground, and Forest Rest Area.
Shim Deok-seop, the governor of Gochang-gun, said, "I hope this three-day festival, which will heal many people's hearts, will be a time that satisfies the five senses of those who visit the festival site with many healing programs."
