Galaxy S24 and Flip 5 to Support Galaxy AI Features... Sequential Updates Planned

AI Features Added Including Interpretation Listening and Circle to Search

Samsung Electronics will sequentially roll out the 'Galaxy AI' new feature update starting from the 5th for the Galaxy S24 series and major models released last year.

The target models are ▲ Galaxy S24 series (S24, S24+, S24 Ultra) ▲ Galaxy S23 series (S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE) ▲ Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 models ▲ Galaxy Tab S9 series (S9, S9+, S9 Ultra).

Through this update, existing Galaxy smartphone users will be able to use the new, more advanced Galaxy AI features that enhance communication, productivity, and creativity, supported by One UI 6.1.1, which is installed on the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6.

Accordingly, various intuitive communication-supporting features will be updated, including ▲ 'Interpretation Listening Mode' that translates foreign speech heard on-site into text in real time ▲ 'Writing' that suggests emails and social network posts reflecting the user's tone and style with just simple keyword input ▲ 'Reply Recommendation' that analyzes recent messages exchanged with others to suggest customized replies.

Additionally, features such as ▲ 'Voice Recording to Text Conversion' and 'PDF Overlay Translation' in Note Assist ▲ 'Sketch Conversion' that transforms simple sketches into refined AI images ▲ the more advanced 'Circle to Search' offering math problem solving and music search functions ▲ 'Portrait Studio' that converts portrait photos into various styles such as 3D characters and watercolor ▲ and 'Instant Slow Motion' that allows quick and easy creation of slow-motion videos will also be updated.
