Domestic digital twin leading company E8 announced on the 6th that it successfully concluded the '2024 World Smart City Expo (WSCE 2024)' held from the 3rd to the 5th of this month.
The company accelerated its global market expansion by signing strategic partnerships with numerous overseas companies. During the expo, it signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with companies from Hong Kong, India, and Colombia, and agreed to enter into negotiations to promote cooperation in digital twin technology.
These MOUs reflect the high interest and trust of overseas companies in E8's core technologies, the simulation software 'NFLOW' and the digital twin platform 'NDX PRO.' 'NFLOW' enables real-time complex fluid dynamics simulations, maximizing efficiency in various fields such as building energy management, smart manufacturing, and environmental analysis. Additionally, 'NDX PRO' is an essential digital twin platform for smart city implementation that faithfully reproduces the real world in virtual space, supporting urban planning, disaster response, and facility management.
Jinhyun Kim, CEO of E8, said, "The signing of these MOUs proves that E8's technological capabilities and potential have been recognized not only domestically but also in the global market." He added, "Especially, Hong Kong and India are rapidly growing markets due to active investment and policy support for smart city development." He continued, "Through cooperation with these companies, we will develop and supply customized solutions for local markets and lead smart city innovation based on digital twin technology."
Through participation in this expo, E8 expanded its global network and established a foothold for overseas market entry. Moving forward, the company plans to solidify its global leadership in digital twin technology through continuous technological development and collaboration, driving innovation across various industries beyond smart cities.
