Korail Distribution announced on the 6th that it will make early payments to over 300 partner companies ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
The sales commissions scheduled for payment in early next month will be paid up to 20 days in advance. This is to support partner companies in managing their funds smoothly amid economic crises such as high interest rates and high inflation, and to revitalize the domestic economy.
With this early payment, business owners operating Storyway convenience stores at major train stations nationwide are expected to benefit. Korail Distribution also made early payments to small business owners operating Storyway convenience stores during last year’s holiday season.
Meanwhile, since 2013, Korail Distribution has been providing stable logistics services to small business owners through a win-win logistics support project utilizing railway infrastructure. In recognition of these efforts, Korail Distribution has received the Win-Win Cooperation Award and the Chairman’s Award from the Commission for Shared Growth for 10 consecutive years since 2014.
A Korail Distribution official said, "We hope this helps reduce the economic burden on small business owners ahead of the holiday," adding, "We will continue to seek practical ways to support win-win management with our partners."
