Seocho-gu to Host the 1st Seocho Youth FESTA from 21st to 27th

Seocho-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) will hold the "1st Seocho Youth FESTA (during Youth Week)" at the Seocho Youth Center from the 21st to the 27th of this month in celebration of Youth Day on the 21st. This festival is filled with programs directly planned and prepared by the Youth Festival Promotion Committee, composed of young people.


On the first day of the festival, the 21st, the opening ceremony will be held under the title "Youth Travel (Youth! Find Happiness Here!)." Seocho-gu youth artist "BLANC ENSEMBLE" and singer "Moa" will perform a congratulatory concert by rearranging and playing life songs submitted in advance.


Also, a talk concert titled "Finding Happiness, Youth to Youth" by Um Ji-yoon, a representative MZ generation comedian, will take place. It will listen to and communicate with the concerns and difficulties of young people and introduce ways to transform daily life through the filter of happiness.


From the 23rd to the 25th of this month, a relay of special lectures by notable figures will continue. ▲ On the 23rd, writer Song Hee-gu's "The Right Real Estate Investment Direction for Young People Starting Out" ▲ On the 24th, comedian Park Se-mi, famous as Seo Jun-mom, will hold a life talk titled "Finding Happiness, The Important Thing is to Keep Going Even When You’re Down" ▲ On the 25th, tax accountant Kim Seon-il will present "Basic Tax Knowledge for Youth That They Must Know," containing essential information for young people.


On the 26th, a "Global Companies & Overseas Employment Concert" will be held for young people hoping to work abroad. An employee from the Human Resources Development Service of Korea will be invited as a lecturer to introduce overseas employment support systems such as overseas employment settlement subsidies and work experience support projects. Additionally, special lectures, open mock interviews, and small group mentoring will be provided by 16 mentors composed of current and former employees of global companies.


On the last day of the festival, the 27th, the "Youth Single-Person Household Non-Alcoholic Pocha" will be held at the Seocho Single-Person Household Support Center near Yangjaecheon for young single-person households. Non-alcoholic beer and pocha side dishes will be provided, and music performances and photo booth experiences such as life four-cut photos will be operated to enjoy the final night of the festival.


Participation methods can be checked through the Seocho Youth Center Instagram account, and applications can be made by signing up on the Seocho Youth Center website. In addition, from the 24th of this month to October 2nd, a special exhibition of young artists will be held at the Sam Art Museum of Seoul National University of Education. A total of 106 works by 53 Seocho-gu young artists will be exhibited.


Jeon Seong-su, Mayor of Seocho-gu, said, "I hope that through this Seocho Youth FESTA, young people will have a good opportunity not only for self-development and acquiring useful information but also to rest and heal their bodies and minds tired from preparing for employment and studies."
