6th Event: Quiz on the Public Officials Ethics Act and More
Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC, President Kim Yonghak) announced on the 5th that it held the "2024 6th BMC Integrity Golden Bell" event for its executives and employees to promote the spread of a culture of integrity and improve understanding of anti-corruption systems.
Held ahead of the Chuseok holiday to strengthen discipline among public officials, the 6th BMC Integrity Golden Bell featured questions about revisions to related laws such as the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act. Before the event, President Kim Yonghak personally conducted a training session covering the main topics within the scope of the competition, adding significance to the event.
The questions covered topics such as the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, the Public Officials Ethics Act, and the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, all related to anti-corruption systems. Educational materials were distributed in advance to encourage voluntary participation.
The event also included content on the Pre-consulting Audit System and the Active Administration Immunity System, so that employees could refer to and utilize this information in their work.
Moon Hyesu, Assistant Manager of the Planning and Management Office and winner of this competition, said, "Through this event, I was able to review the recently revised enforcement decree of the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act once again. I believe the laws and regulations I learned through this opportunity will be very helpful in carrying out my duties."
