Barron Trump Enrolls at NYU Stern School of Business
"Trump Family's Tradition of Wharton School Admission Broken"
In the drama 'The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate Family,' Jin Do-jun, the youngest son of the Sunyang family, was admitted to Seoul National University Law School. Where did the youngest son of the American version of the conglomerate family, the Trumps, enroll?
Major foreign media outlets such as The New York Times (NYT), The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), and the Associated Press (AP) reported on the 4th (local time) the identity of the university that Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump, was admitted to. Barron Trump, who turned 18 this year, is headed to New York University's Stern School of Business.
Former President Trump revealed this fact in an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, stating, "Barron liked that school. Of course, Wharton was also one of our options, but ultimately he chose Stern."
Axios reported, "Barron Trump broke the family's long-standing tradition by enrolling at New York University." This highlights that Barron's half-siblings, including Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Tiffany Trump, are all graduates of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, including former President Trump himself.
Former President Trump explained, "Barron received acceptance letters from many universities. Wharton was also one of our options, but ultimately he chose Stern." He added, "Barron is highly talented and very smart, but now he is growing beyond just being a kid and becoming an adult."
As former President Trump proudly noted, New York University is known for its high admission difficulty and tuition fees comparable to the Ivy League. WSJ reported, "This year, NYU's acceptance rate was 8%, and the annual tuition is about $63,000." In particular, the undergraduate business program and MBA program offered by NYU's Stern School of Business are ranked 5th and 7th in the U.S., respectively, according to U.S. News & World Report.
Barron Trump, born in 2006, is the only son of former President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. Earlier, there were speculations that he would make his political debut as a Florida delegate at the Republican National Convention, but he did not appear. Former President Trump also told the Daily Mail that Barron is interested in politics and helped the Trump campaign communicate with Generation Z voters.
