The Small Business Digital Education Center, located in Mapo-gu, Seoul, was established with Kakao's support based on the 'Business Agreement for Sustainable Development and Digital Transformation Support of Small Business Owners' signed by Kakao and KFMEA in August last year. KFMEA is responsible for operation and provides free digital transformation education to small business owners nationwide.
The education center regularly conducts digital transformation training for small business owners and prospective small business owners, offering customized curricula according to the applicant's industry and scale. Training related to the use of Kakao services and platforms is held monthly.
Kakao, together with KFMEA, supports the development of various educational curricula necessary for small business owners to utilize platforms and participates in the educational process with Kakao crew members delivering lectures directly. Education is provided on how to use Kakao services and platforms so that small business owners can start their business on KakaoTalk, including ▲opening and utilizing KakaoTalk Channels, ▲Kakao advertising, ▲registering stores on KakaoMap, and ▲joining KakaoTalk Store.
Park Yoon-seok, Kakao's Shared Growth Performance Leader, said, "We will strengthen educational programs utilizing Kakao services and platforms so that small business owners can find new business opportunities online," adding, "We plan to continue cooperating with KFMEA to explore ways for more small business owners to grow in the digital business environment."
