"The culprit who scratched the car is a turkey" Neighbor's note
Video captured of a turkey pecking with its beak
A bizarre story has emerged about a woman car owner who suffered damage after a turkey mercilessly scratched her parked vehicle.
According to recent reports from foreign media such as the Daily Mail and Boston, Alicia Mastroianni, who lives in Boston, USA, was shocked when she went to her parked car on the 15th of last month to go to work. The side of the car was covered with what appeared to be scratch marks. Alicia recalled the situation, saying, "Every side of my car was a mess," and "It looked like someone had completely scratched it."
Fortunately, Alicia was able to catch the culprit thanks to a neighbor who witnessed the incident. The neighbor sent her a note saying, "I just saw a giant turkey attacking your car for over 15 minutes and recorded the situation. The car seems to have quite a few scratches," along with a video.
Upon reviewing the video, it was confirmed that the culprit was indeed a turkey. The footage recorded by the neighbor clearly showed the turkey clawing and pecking at the car. The marks left by the turkey were numerous. The side of the vehicle was covered with countless scratch marks made by the turkey moving around.
However, thanks to the neighbor who recorded the incident, Alicia was able to submit the evidence to the insurance company and receive compensation for the vehicle damage.
Netizens who came across the story reacted with comments such as, "A turkey scratched the car? I probably wouldn't have believed it at first after reading the note," "Honestly, I didn't believe it until I saw the video," "I wonder if the turkey was upset for some reason," "Best neighbor ever," "Maybe the turkey was sensitive because it was morning," "Glad she got compensated," "No one would have believed it without the video," "She should get compensation from the turkey, not the insurance company," and "Did the turkey mistake the car for an animal?"
