With the U.S. presidential election approaching this November, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are locked in a razor-thin race in three of the six battleground states.

On the 4th (local time), CNN reported the results of a poll conducted by the polling agency SSRS from October 23 to 29 (margin of error ±4.7~4.9 percentage points), showing this trend.

Vice President Harris holds a 5-6 percentage point lead over former President Trump in Wisconsin and Michigan, with support rates of 50% and 48%, respectively, compared to Trump's 44% in Wisconsin and 43% in Michigan.

Former President Trump leads Vice President Harris by 5 percentage points in Arizona, with 49% support compared to Harris's 44%.

Among the six battleground states, three are in a neck-and-neck race. In Georgia and Nevada, Vice President Harris has 48% support, nearly equal to former President Trump's 47%. In Pennsylvania, both candidates are tied at 47%. Notably, Pennsylvania and Georgia have 19 and 16 electoral votes respectively, which could decisively influence the outcome of the presidential election.

Among voters in the six battleground states, 11-15% indicated that they might change their voting intention.

CNN stated, "An average of 15% of voters in battleground states said they have not yet firmly decided," adding, "As interest in the election rises and campaigning reaches its peak in the final nine weeks before the election, a significant number of voters may change their views." It also forecasted a fierce battle for votes in Pennsylvania, which has the largest number of electoral votes.

In a poll targeting young voters, Vice President Harris significantly outpaced former President Trump. According to a survey conducted by NBC and SurveyMonkey from October 23 to 30 among 2,617 registered voters aged 18-29, released on the same day (margin of error ±3.1 percentage points), Harris's support rate was 50%, while Trump's was 34%.

Seventy-three percent of respondents supported proposals to set a maximum age limit for presidential candidates. Among those in favor of the age limit, 54% said the maximum age should be 65.
