A man in his 60s who drove a car crashing into the main entrance of the Hyundai Engineering & Construction headquarters in Seoul was arrested on the spot.
On the 4th, the Jongno Police Station in Seoul arrested Mr. Lee, a man in his 60s and the driver of the car, on charges of special property damage.
Mr. Lee is suspected of driving into the Hyundai Building premises located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, around 4:40 p.m. that day and crashing his vehicle into the revolving door and other structures at the main entrance. It is reported that there were no casualties. Hyundai Engineering & Construction reportedly apprehended Mr. Lee and handed him over to the police who arrived at the scene.
According to the police, Mr. Lee has so far tested negative in preliminary tests for alcohol and drugs. The police plan to conduct a detailed investigation into the circumstances of the incident with Mr. Lee.
