The Korea Specialty Contractors Association announced on the 4th that Yoon Hak-su, CEO of Jangpyeong Construction, has been elected as the 13th president of the central association.

At the 2nd extraordinary general meeting held at the Specialty Construction Hall in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, President Yoon was re-elected with the support of 120 out of 132 delegates who participated in the vote. Having served since November 2021, President Yoon will serve his second term from November this year until October 2027.
President Yoon presented key pledges including ▲promoting the restructuring and reorganization of the construction industry production structure to protect the specialty construction sector and create a fair business environment ▲improving the bidding system focused on construction ▲nullifying unfair subcontracting special clauses ▲expanding workforce supply at construction sites.
In his acceptance speech, President Yoon said, "Based on my experience and achievements so far, I will swiftly deliver results by reorganizing business strategies starting with major issues such as the imbalance in the construction industry production structure and the Serious Accidents Punishment Act. I will devote everything to opening a new era for specialty construction, focusing solely on our member companies."
