Samsung Electronics unveiled the next-generation Intel artificial intelligence (AI) chipset-equipped copilot+ PC, the 'Galaxy Book5 Pro 360,' on the 4th.
The 'Galaxy Book5 Pro 360' features the 'Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 2 (codename Lunar Lake),' which supports up to 47 TOPS of neural processing unit (NPU), offering broad compatibility with AI applications (apps).
It also supports up to 17% improved graphics performance with the Intel Arc graphics processing unit (GPU). The device is equipped with a high-resolution Dynamic AMOLED 2X display featuring Vision Booster, providing 3K-level high resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts 120% color volume and deep contrast.
By utilizing Microsoft's 'Phone Link' feature to connect the 'Galaxy Book5 Pro 360' with a Galaxy smartphone, users can access 'Galaxy AI' functions supported on the smartphone?such as Circle to Search, Chat Assist, and real-time translation?on the PC's large screen.
It is equipped with four speakers featuring Dolby Atmos and a larger woofer. The S Pen is supported, and the design is made lightweight and slim. The high-capacity battery supports up to 25 hours of usage based on video playback.
Wi-Fi 7 is supported, and the security platform 'Samsung Knox' protects firmware and other system data from external attacks through a dedicated security chip.
The colors available are Gray and Silver. Sales are scheduled to begin this month in Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, and other countries, with a release planned in Korea within the year.
