While typical distilled soju is made using a single distillation method, Ilpum Jinro 1924 Heritage undergoes three distillations in total, distilling twice more to capture only the purest essence. In each distillation process, the initial distillate with strong aroma and the final distillate with strong off-flavors are boldly discarded, using only the middle layer distillate with deep aroma to maximize flavor. Ilpum Jinro Oak 25 is a premium distilled soju with an alcohol content of 25 degrees, blended using the finest extract aged for over five years under strict management in the country’s largest wooden barrel aging room.
