POSCO is recruiting production technology intern employees for the second half of 2024.

The recruitment fields are △ Operation (Production) △ Maintenance (Mechanical, Electrical) △ Railroad △ Disaster Prevention/Firefighting △ Chemistry. Applicants who pass the document screening will go through an online aptitude test (PAT), intern interviews, intern experience, and final recruitment interviews to be selected as regular employees.

POSCO is providing more job seekers with the opportunity to experience POSCO’s job roles and organizational culture through internships in this second half production technology recruitment process.

Additionally, the previous 8-month internship period has been significantly reduced to 1.5 months (6 weeks), and interns who complete the program will have the opportunity to apply for recruitment interviews.

From the job seekers’ perspective, they can experience the company and choose whether to apply for recruitment interviews, and since the internship period is shortened, the final acceptance decision is made more quickly.

A POSCO HR representative stated, “We expect that shortening the internship period will reduce the burden on job seekers by allowing faster acceptance decisions,” and added, “Considering large-scale retirements, the recruitment scale has been expanded compared to before, and we hope talented individuals will lead the future of the steel industry together with POSCO.”
