Korea Financial Group subsidiary Korea Investment & Securities announced on the 3rd that it will hold a commission discount event for customers of its online-only trading service 'Bankis' until December 31.

This event applies a trading commission of 1 dollar per contract for U.S. stock options to customers holding a Bankis overseas futures options account. The benefit period is from the event application date until the end of December. Additionally, customers who trade 10 or more U.S. stock option contracts will receive a Starbucks coffee coupon, and real-time quote services are provided free of charge upon application.

U.S. stock options are options based on U.S. stocks and U.S.-listed exchange-traded funds (ETFs) such as Apple, Tesla, and Nvidia. Korea Investment & Securities established the first U.S. stock options trading system among domestic securities firms in May 2022, and currently, 114 items are being traded.
