Petconomy (Pet+Economy) Talk Concert
Shilla University (President: Heo Namsik) Companion Animal Industry Specialized University Innovation Research Park (I-URP) Project Group will host the 'Shilla University 2024 Petconomy (Pet+Economy) Talk Concert'.
The Shilla University I-URP Project Group will hold the 'Shilla University 2024 Petconomy (Pet+Economy) Talk Concert' at the Future Aviation Convergence Hall on the 5th at 1 PM to promote the growth of the companion animal industry and enhance entrepreneurship friendliness among university students.
This event will feature lectures such as "Pet Market, Envy and the Business Chronicle of Kim Wonhyo" by Kim Wonhyo, CEO of Hyosim Entertainment and a well-known comedian, and "The Growth of Petel, a Companion Animal Accommodation Platform" by Lim Jihoon, CEO of Petel Inc., a companion dog travel and accommodation app. In addition, a business agreement ceremony between the I-URP Project Group and Hyosim Entertainment will be held simultaneously.
Anyone, including Shilla University students, prospective students, faculty and staff, and local residents, can attend the talk concert by registering on-site at the event venue.
Bae Ilkwon, head of the Shilla University I-URP Project Group, stated, "The purpose of this event is to help change the prejudices held by students in the companion animal department and those interested in starting a business in the companion animal field, and to help them overcome vague fears." He added, "The diverse experiences of CEO Kim Wonhyo, who transformed from a famous celebrity to a successful companion animal product entrepreneur, and CEO Lim Jihoon, who grew his company from a local startup to the nation's leading companion dog accommodation platform, are expected to provide great inspiration to participants."
