The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 3rd that a total of 1,369 public housing units will be sold in the 3rd phase new towns, Incheon Gyeyang District and the Subangsa site in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. Incheon Gyeyang District will supply 1,106 units, and the Dongjak Subangsa site will supply 263 units.
Incheon Gyeyang District will offer 1,106 public sale units for the first time in the 3rd phase new towns at blocks A2 and A3. By block, A2 block has 747 units consisting of ▲ 539 units of 59㎡ ▲ 178 units of 74㎡ ▲ 30 units of 84㎡. The A3 block consists of 359 units of a single size of 55㎡. Move-in is scheduled for 2026.
The sale price may be higher than the estimated price disclosed during the preliminary subscription. This is due to increased construction costs and rising surrounding housing market prices. The estimated sale prices for A2 block were ▲ 356 million KRW for 59㎡ ▲ 437 million KRW for 74㎡ ▲ 494 million KRW for 84㎡. The A3 block with 55㎡ was estimated at 339.8 million KRW.
Kim Baeseong, head of the Public Housing Promotion Team at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, said, "Although the confirmed sale price may increase, the price will be determined within the limits of the price ceiling system."
The Incheon Gyeyang A2 and A3 blocks are close to Bakchon Station on Incheon Subway Line 1. With the expansion of Beolmal-ro and Gyeongmyeong-daero and the establishment of a new connection road to Incheon International Airport Expressway, access to Seoul is expected to become more convenient.
Through 'Gyeyang Byeori,' a street-type linear park created in Incheon Gyeyang District, hospitals and cultural facilities can be accessed within a 5-minute walk.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will open a model house in Cheongna-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon, within this month.

In Dongjak-gu Subangsa site, 263 public housing units of 59㎡ will also be offered for sale. The main subscription quantity excluding preliminary subscription winners is expected to be 39 units. Move-in is targeted for 2028.
The complex will include a sky lounge with views of Yeouido and the Han River, a guest house, a residents' cafe, and a small library.
The Subangsa site is located between Noryangjin Station on Seoul Subway Lines 1 and 9 and Nodeul Station on Line 9. It offers convenient access to central business districts such as Gangnam, Seoul Station, and Yeouido. Accessibility to Sinchon will also improve once the Western Light Rail opens.
The model house for the Subangsa district will be held at the New Home Promotion Center near Bokjeong Station on Subway Line 9 at the end of this month.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will designate Namhyeon District in Seoul as a public housing district on the 4th. In Namhyeon District, 400 public housing units and new military quarters will be supplied by reconstructing old military housing within central Seoul. This district is located within 200 meters of Namtaeryeong Station on Line 4, making it a transit-oriented area.
From next year, housing design and site development procedures will proceed in Namhyeon District. According to the Ministry, housing construction is targeted for 2026 and sales for 2027. Since the landowners are the state and public institutions, housing construction will begin once permits and designs are completed.
Seoul Singil 15 District will be designated as an urban public housing complex district. This area was selected as an urban complex project site in August last year and obtained consent from more than two-thirds of residents.
A 2,300-unit apartment complex is planned with approval of the complex project plan (housing project) in 2026, construction starting in 2028, and sales in 2029. This area is close to Yeongdeungpo Station on Line 1 and Sinpung Station on Line 7.
Director Kim said, "This year, 10,000 housing units will be constructed in the 3rd phase new towns, and the main subscription will be implemented for the first time, marking the full-scale start of housing supply in public land in Seoul and the metropolitan area," adding, "There are 5,000 public sale housing units remaining for sale in the second half of this year."
