A famous YouTuber with over 200,000 subscribers is under investigation for animal abuse allegations.

According to the Incheon Western Police Station on the 2nd, a complaint was recently filed against YouTuber A (35) for violating the Animal Protection Act. The complaint stated that A kicked his pet dog to death in November last year and later revealed the crime during a live broadcast.

A is also known to have filmed videos showing multiple instances of abuse toward pets such as dogs, cats, and rabbits during previous broadcasts. Additionally, he was caught yelling at his pet dog.

It was also found that he lived with a viewer who was a minor at the time, and he is currently undergoing trial after being indicted without detention in June on charges including statutory rape of a minor.

The police stated, "Only the complaint has been received so far, and since the matter is under investigation, we cannot disclose specific details," adding, "We plan to verify the facts related to animal abuse." They intend to investigate the exact circumstances of the case soon through the complainant.

Meanwhile, A is a former AfreecaTV BJ whose YouTube channel once surpassed 200,000 subscribers. His YouTube channel is currently suspended.
