Selection of 1,159 Students in Rolling Admissions
Major Track System Since 2017
Hansung University will select 1,159 students, accounting for 69% of the total admission quota, in the 2025 academic year early admission. Students can enter without distinguishing detailed tracks within the same department, and they can freely choose their tracks upon advancing to the second year.
Under the Hansung Talent Admission, a comprehensive student record screening method, 257 students will be selected. The document evaluation, which reviews all areas of the student record, applies a 100% high school blind evaluation. There are no separate interviews or minimum CSAT score requirements. The Hansung Talent Admission does not reflect the student record's academic grades as a separate quantitative score. The number of recruitment units has also expanded compared to the previous year. The existing recruitment units?Creative Humanities Department, Future Convergence Social Sciences College, Global Fashion Industry Department, Beauty Design Management Department, IT Engineering College, Literature and Cultural Contents Department, AI Application Department?have been increased from 7 to 8 by adding the Convergence Security Department within the College of Creative Convergence.
The Student Record Academic Achievement Admission, which reflects 100% of the student record's academic grades, will select 297 students through the Academic Excellence Admission applying minimum CSAT standards. The Regional Balance Admission, which does not apply minimum standards, will select 208 students. For Academic Excellence Admission, the sum of grades in two CSAT subjects must be within 7 for daytime recruitment units and within 8 for nighttime recruitment units, and the second foreign language or classical Chinese can be substituted for inquiry subjects.
Since 2017, Hansung University has restructured its academic system into a track system, allowing all admitted students except those in the working professional admission to freely choose two or more tracks, majors, or departments to complete a convergence major. The first year is a period for exploring majors and establishing a foundation for convergence education, during which students take major and convergence basics and liberal arts courses. Upon advancing to the second year, students choose two tracks to complete a convergence major or select one department or major to complete an advanced major. The College of Creative Convergence, newly established in 2022 (including AI Application Department, Literature and Cultural Contents Department, Convergence Security Department, Future Mobility Department), operates departmental curricula to train professionals in new industry fields while providing convergence curricula linked to track education.
To strengthen practical skills based on digital new businesses and social demand, Micro Degrees are also being offered. Micro Degrees consist of industry field-oriented practical courses and convergence courses for each program, and completion is recognized upon earning 9 credits. As of the 2024 academic year, 17 programs such as AI Application Course, Global Business Field Connection Course, and Digital Editing Design Specialist Course are offered, diversifying educational programs that students can choose according to their career plans.
