The Small and Medium Business Love Sharing Foundation held a delivery ceremony for the ‘2024 Chuseok Holiday Food Sharing for the Underprivileged in the Community’ on the 3rd at the Small and Medium Business Love Sharing Foundation Secretariat.
The holiday food kit support began in 2021 when face-to-face support was difficult due to COVID-19. It is a representative community-friendly social contribution project of the foundation that fills the welfare blind spots needing holiday food support during Seol and Chuseok.
The Chuseok holiday food kit prepared this time consists of ingredients such as beef soup cuts, frozen pollack, and glass noodles, enough for about 40 people to cook and eat. A total of 1,000 boxes were produced and will be directly delivered to 300 welfare facilities nationwide by the 4th.
Son In-guk, Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Love Sharing Foundation, stated, “The holiday food kit support project has been delivered to 1,930 welfare facilities and 320,000 underprivileged people over four years, establishing itself as a representative social contribution project of the small and medium business sector. We will continue to be a small and medium business loved by the local community through ongoing sharing.”
Kim Dong-ho, Director of Gwanak Senior Welfare Center, who attended the event, responded, “We are grateful to the Small and Medium Business Love Sharing Foundation for leading the culture of sharing while caring for the local community, and we hope to continue this good relationship in the future.”
