Shinhan Bank to Conduct Second Half Recruitment... Approximately 130 Positions Available

Shinhan Bank announced on the 2nd that it will conduct its 2024 second half recruitment with a total of 130 positions. This recruitment will be carried out through ▲open recruitment for general entry-level clerks ▲digital and ICT occasional recruitment ▲special recruitment for social value.

Shinhan Bank to Conduct Second Half Recruitment... Approximately 130 Positions Available

Shinhan Bank is conducting recruitment in the second half of the year following the first half to meet social expectations for youth employment creation and to secure future talent. The bank plans to invigorate the organization and enhance its responsiveness to changes in the financial environment through newly hired employees.


The open recruitment for general entry-level clerks will proceed in the order of document screening, written test (SLT: Shinhan Literacy Test), and first and second interviews. The written test (SLT) consists of an NCS and financial knowledge section to assess basic job skills and financial understanding, and a digital literacy evaluation to verify logical thinking related to digital finance.


The digital and ICT occasional recruitment has newly added application architecture design to existing specialized fields such as banking service development, mobile and web frontend development, and UX/UI design. Shinhan Bank plans to actively promote technology-centered tech innovation, including the introduction of new technologies such as generative artificial intelligence (AI) and architecture improvements, together with outstanding digital and ICT talents.


The special recruitment for social value, conducted since 2021 to practice social value from the perspective of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) and to discover diverse talents, is open to persons with disabilities, national veterans, multicultural families, and children of fallen public officials. The recruitment fields are personal and corporate finance.


The document submission period is until September 19, and the final successful candidates will be announced in December.
