On the 2nd, Governor Oh stated regarding the prosecution's decision not to appeal the Public Official Election Act case, "I apologize for causing concern to the residents due to the trial," and added, "I will devote myself to the numerous pending issues in county administration and will surely repay the support of the residents."

With the prosecution's decision not to appeal, Governor Oh Taewan's acquittal under the election law has been finalized.

Governor Oh said, "Although there were many twists and turns, such as the rare acceptance of a motion for a retrial, I was fortunately able to conclude the trial thanks to the support of the residents," and added, "I also express my respect to the court for thoroughly examining the substantive truth."

He emphasized, "Since many people were concerned throughout the process leading up to the trial, I believe that focusing on county administration is the most important thing for me, and as the economy and livelihoods become more difficult externally, I feel a heavy sense of responsibility as governor."

He continued, "I will focus on large-scale investment projects that will lay the foundation for Uiryeong's development over the next 50 years, such as extending the National Road Network's North-South Axis Route 6, constructing public housing linked to job creation, and completing the Burim Industrial Complex. I will also actively implement policies to improve quality of life and support the socially vulnerable."

He added, "Once again, I would like to express my apologies and gratitude to all the residents who have been concerned. I promise to do my best as a diligent and capable governor for the residents."
