Pukyong National University Welcomes 510 New International Students from 41 Countries for Second Semester

Orientation Held at University Theater on the 30th

National Pukyong University (President Jang Youngsoo) held the 2024 Fall Semester Orientation for new international students at the university theater on September 30.

This semester, 510 new international students from 41 countries, including China, Japan, Myanmar, and Vietnam, enrolled at National Pukyong University. In the previous semester, 431 students from 44 countries were admitted.

Starting with this orientation, the new international students began their studies in various programs such as graduate school, undergraduate, exchange student, language training, and dual degree courses.

The Office of International Affairs at National Pukyong University (Director Kim Hyunwoo) organized programs for the new international students attending the orientation, including a welcome speech, an introduction to the university, and academic information for each program.

As of April this year, National Pukyong University has 1,678 international students from 71 countries enrolled in undergraduate, master's, doctoral, integrated master's and doctoral, exchange, training, and dual degree programs.

On August 30, an orientation for international students was held at the National Pukyong University.
