Uljugun Signs Agreement to Attract New Corporate Investment Worth 110 Billion Won

Agreement with 11 Organizations, 250 Hires

Subsidy Support for 3 Companies with Completed Investments

Ulsan's Ulju County announced on the 2nd that it has attracted new corporate investments totaling 110 billion KRW and created jobs for around 250 local residents through active efforts to attract companies.


On this day, Ulju County held a signing ceremony for companies hoping to invest in the county and a ceremony for awarding investment attraction subsidies to companies that have completed their investments at the county hall's Bidulgi Hall, with County Governor Lee Sungul and various company representatives in attendance.


This year's companies hoping to invest in Ulju County are: SK Industry Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Donghyun), Shinhan AT Co., Ltd. (CEO Shin Youngcheol), Daehyup Tech Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Hyungseok), HJLM Co., Ltd. (CEO Heo Ho), Linno Aluminum Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Seyoung), KH Ecotech Co., Ltd. (CEOs Kim Gwangseop and Hwang Kyuok), Daero Concrete Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Jinyong), Suseong Plantech Co., Ltd. (CEO Jung Samgyun), Haeshin Steel Co., Ltd. (CEO Lim Jonghyun), Top IND Co., Ltd. (CEO Jung Hosoon), and KOC Electric Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Horyang), making a total of 11 companies.


According to the agreement, these companies will invest a total of 110 billion KRW and strive to revitalize the local economy and hire around 250 local residents.


Ulju County plans to provide administrative support and grant investment attraction subsidies upon completion of the investments to help ensure the success of the investment projects by the contracted companies.


On this day, Ulju County also awarded a total of 2.42 billion KRW in investment attraction subsidies to three companies that have completed their investments: Korea Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Seokhee), TS Chemtech Co., Ltd. (CEO An Minju), and Top IND Co., Ltd. (CEO Jung Hosoon).


Korea Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. is a company that manufactures trailers in the Onsan National Industrial Complex. It invested 25.5 billion KRW and created 16 new jobs.


TS Chemtech manufactures chemical products in the Onsan National Industrial Complex, investing 5.5 billion KRW and hiring 17 new employees.


Top IND manufactures automotive parts in the Eonyang Bancheon General Industrial Complex. It invested 16.9 billion KRW and provided 17 new jobs.


County Governor Lee Sungul said, "Despite the difficult economic situation, including high interest rates, I am grateful to the companies that have actively invested in Ulju County. We will continue to discover and support investment companies to revitalize the local economy and create jobs."
