A wife, harboring resentment over her husband's affair, was found to have had an affair herself and even orchestrated an assault on her husband by her own lover.

According to TBC's 'Case Chief' on the 31st of last month, 40-year-old Mr. A married Ms. B, a wealthy woman five years his senior, 10 years ago and succeeded in business with the help of his in-laws. One day, Mr. A, who enjoyed CrossFit as a hobby, started an affair with a woman in her late 20s whom he met there. Upon discovering that her husband was involved with a woman 21 years younger, Ms. B confronted him, but he instead accused her of being paranoid. Enraged, Ms. B decided to take revenge by joining a divorced singles dance club and pretending to be single while having an affair herself.

While having her own affair, Ms. B eventually exploded. She found photos in her husband's pocket of him and his 20-something mistress taken with a wedding concept. Furious, Ms. B confided in her 50s lover that she was married and lied, saying, "My husband is having an affair and is violent." Her lover proposed to take revenge by pretending to be a robber and breaking into the house to assault the husband. Agreeing to this, Ms. B gave her lover the house password and actively planned the crime. She also persuaded her lover that if the plan succeeded, they would divorce and remarry.

Soon after, Ms. B left the house saying she would stay at her parents' place, and that night her lover, wearing a mask and carrying a golf club, broke into the house. However, Mr. A, trained through CrossFit, immediately subdued the lover.

The police arrived at the scene and arrested the lover on charges including trespassing. During the investigation, the police became suspicious that the lover knew the house password and questioned Ms. B. Ms. B stated that the lover liked her and they had met a few times but denied having an affair. However, photos of the two together were submitted as evidence, revealing the truth of the case. Ms. B claims, "I only complained that I wanted to teach my husband a lesson; I never instructed the assault."

Currently, Mr. A and Ms. B are in divorce proceedings, each blaming the other as the at-fault spouse and shirking responsibility.
