Online Reservations Start from 10 AM on the 4th
The Cultural Heritage Administration's Palace and Royal Tombs Headquarters announced on the 2nd that night tours of Gyeongbokgung Palace will be held from the 11th of this month until the 27th of next month.
This event allows visitors to stroll through Gyeongbokgung Palace on autumn nights and experience the atmosphere of the ancient palace. From 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, visitors can freely explore Gwanghwamun, Heungnyemun, Geunjeongjeon, Sajongjeon, Gangnyeongjeon, and more. Access is also permitted to Gyeonghoeru, where the royal court's lavish banquets were held, Gyotaejeon where the queen resided, and the Amisan area created behind it.
Tickets can be purchased on Interpark Ticket. The daily sales limit is 3,000 tickets. Reservations can be made online starting at 10:00 AM on the 4th.
Foreign visitors can purchase tickets on-site at the Gwanghwamun ticket booth on the day of the visit. Admission is free for those wearing hanbok, national merit recipients and their spouses, persons with severe disabilities and one companion, persons with mild disabilities, holders of national bereaved family certificates, children under 6 years old, and seniors aged 65 and over.
Visitors must enter by 8:30 PM for the night tour. The tours will not be held on Mondays and Tuesdays each week, on the substitute holiday of September 19, or on October 9 when the Royal Culture Festival takes place.
