Daebo Construction, a construction affiliate of Daebo Group, announced on the 1st that it has appointed Kim Seong-ho, former Vice President of Namgwang Togeon, as its new CEO.
CEO Kim, a native of Cheongju, Chungbuk, graduated from Chungbuk National University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He joined Ssangyong Construction in 1991, where he was responsible for site construction and administration, site management, and civil engineering technical sales. Since 2018, he served as the Head of the Civil Engineering Business Division at Namgwang Togeon, handling tasks such as technical bidding, private investment projects, and site construction management.
A representative from Daebo Construction stated, "We believe that CEO Kim will contribute to the company's growth with his extensive sales know-how and construction experience accumulated over 35 years in the construction industry. Given that the company has been focusing its capabilities on technical bidding for several years, we expect the new CEO to demonstrate outstanding ability in securing high-quality projects."
Daebo Construction secured large-scale civil engineering projects, including the 202.5 billion KRW Indeokwon~Dongtan double-track railway Section 6 at the end of last year, and the 224.1 billion KRW Chuncheon~Sokcho railway construction Section 3 in June this year. Recently, it was also selected as the preferred negotiator for the 240 billion KRW Namyangju Wangsuk A-27 Block private participation public housing construction project, actively expanding its order activities.
