Yoon Seungui, Head of Samsung Ascon, Donates Hometown Love Donation to Pohang City for Second Consecutive Year

Donated 5 Million Won Last Year, Highest Donation Again This Year

Pohang City announced on the 30th that Yoon Seungui, Head of Samsung Ascon, donated 5 million won to the Hometown Love Donation Fund.

Head Yoon, who donated the annual maximum amount of 5 million won to the Hometown Love Donation Fund last year, has once again donated 5 million won this year, demonstrating his continued interest in Pohang.

Head Yoon previously served as Hyeongok-myeon Chief, Geoncheon-eup Chief, Hwangseong-dong Chief, and Accounting Department Head in the neighboring city of Gyeongju, and as Secretary General of the Gyeongju Silla Yakseon Project Group. He is currently serving as Head of Samsung Ascon, located in Donghae-myeon, Pohang City.

Head Yoon said, "I vividly remember visiting Songdo Beach often during my childhood," adding, "As I begin the second chapter of my career in Pohang as Head of Samsung Ascon, I feel I have formed a very special bond with the city. I am very happy to be able to express my affection for Pohang, which continues to make remarkable progress, through the Hometown Love Donation. Samsung Ascon is a manufacturing company that produces heated, recycled, and modified asphalt concrete, and it developed Korea's first Pharma Ascon, obtaining Pharma Quality Certification.
