Kim Namil, President of Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation: "Actively Developing Sangju Tourism Products"... Promoting 'Knowing My Hometown'

Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation (President Kim Namil) announced that it implemented the "Knowing My Hometown, Sangju" program on the 30th of last month, connecting city and county tourist attractions, to strengthen the tourism promotion capabilities of all employees.


Employees of Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation visited Sangju to explore major tourist sites, aiming to revitalize tourism in Sangju and increase local residents' interest in prioritizing tourism in their own region.

The 12 participants of this event visited Sangju and directly experienced excellent tourist attractions and Nakdonggang River area tourism infrastructure, such as horseback riding at Sangju International Equestrian Center and the National Nakdonggang Biological Resource Center.


Kim Namil, President of Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation, stated, "Through this event, we will actively work on developing new tourism products and revitalizing local festivals in the charming city of Sangju, which boasts natural beauty and a long history," adding, "I hope that through the establishment of sustainable tourism infrastructure, Sangju will become an even more beloved destination for both domestic and international tourists."
