Gwanak-gu, Increased Integrity Sensitivity and Proactive Administration Competence Among All Employees

Time to Reinforce Integrity Commitment of All Staff with District Mayor... Emphasizing Responsibility and Duty as Public Officials
Unique Integrity Training Using Magic (▲Code of Conduct for Public Officials ▲Related Legal Education ▲Active Administration Cases)

Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) has successfully completed training aimed at enhancing the integrity sensitivity and proactive administrative capabilities of all its employees.

The district conducted integrity and proactive administration training for all employees, providing an opportunity to raise public officials' awareness of integrity and reflect on the importance of proactive administration in resolving residents' inconveniences.

Mayor Park Jun-hee of Gwanak-gu directly participated in this training, strengthening the commitment to integrity together with the staff. The mayor emphasized the practice of integrity and proactive administration to all employees, urging them to fulfill their responsibilities and duties as public officials.

The district invited a professional instructor from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Integrity Training Institute to conduct the integrity education.

The training content included ▲ amendments to the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act ▲ Code of Conduct for Public Officials ▲ Public Finance Recovery Act ▲ proactive administration learned through case studies.

In particular, the instructor used magic tricks to provide an engaging and moving experience while allowing participants to reflect on the value and meaning of integrity. The training also encouraged public officials to voluntarily adhere to ethical standards and adopt attitudes to prevent corruption.

Alongside this, the district is making various efforts to spread a culture of integrity. In July, a ‘Integrity Sketch Exhibition’ was held with the participation of the mayor, deputy mayor, and district office staff, fostering a shared understanding of integrity among employees.

Additionally, labor and management have joined forces to carry out the ‘Cheongbaji Project (Integrity Gwanak!, Right Now! Project)’ to create an organizational culture based on mutual respect and consideration.

Mayor Park Jun-hee stated, “To become a city that everyone wants to visit, a culture of integrity must be the starting point.” He added, “All employees will cultivate integrity and a proactive attitude to provide administration that earns greater trust from residents.”
