“Donate Over 100,000 Won and Receive a Chuseok Gift”
In celebration of the Chuseok holiday, Yeongju City will hold a “Bonus Gift Event” for participants of the Hometown Love Donation Program starting from the 1st.
For this event, every donor who contributes at least 100,000 KRW to Yeongju City between September 1 and 30, either online (via the Hometown Love e-eum website) or offline (by visiting any NongHyup Bank nationwide), and completes the order for the designated thank-you gift, will receive an additional bonus gift along with the regular thank-you gift.
For example, if you select 3.5kg of apples as your thank-you gift, you will receive an extra 1kg of apples; if you choose 10kg of rice, you will get an additional 3kg of glutinous rice. The bonus gifts have been thoughtfully prepared. Detailed information about eligible thank-you gifts and bonus items can be found on the city’s website and official social media channels.
Kim Junhan, Head of the Taxation Division, said, “To express our gratitude to those who support Yeongju City through the Hometown Love Donation during the nation’s biggest holiday, Chuseok, we have prepared this event,” and added, “We have prepared a variety of thank-you and bonus gifts, so we hope for your great interest and participation.”
The Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate up to 5 million KRW per year to a local government outside their registered address, receiving tax deductions (full deduction up to 100,000 KRW, 16.5% for the excess) and thank-you gifts (up to 30% of the donation amount) as benefits.
