Pyeongtaek City Conducts 'Customized Prenatal Education' for Pregnant Women

Pregnant Women Registered Between 9 and 11 Months, 10 to 35 Weeks Gestation

Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province will conduct 'Pregnancy and Childbirth Education' for registered pregnant women between 10 and 35 weeks of pregnancy from September to November.


This education program is designed to enhance pregnant women's understanding of childbirth and parenting, reduce stress, and promote emotional stability to foster a healthy attachment with the fetus.

The education will be conducted as a customized health management program by experts in three areas: breastfeeding, parenting, and prenatal education. The program consists of both theoretical and practical classes, including ▲Breastfeeding Class ▲Newborn Health Class ▲Flower Arrangement Prenatal Class.


Applications for the education can be made through a Naver form sent via text message to registered pregnant women each month. For more details, please contact the Pyeongtaek Public Health Center.



An official from the Pyeongtaek Public Health Center stated, "Through this education, we aim to contribute to the mental and physical stability of pregnant women, healthy childbirth, and the sensory development of the fetus, while alleviating anxiety about parenting to help create a comfortable childbirth environment."
