The city also added that public and roadside parking lots will be opened free of charge for 7 days from the 12th to the 18th of next month during the Chuseok holiday to provide parking convenience for returning visitors.

The suspension zones include ▲both sides of the road for 300m from Seoin Intersection to Inji Intersection around Anseong Matchum Market ▲both sides for 100m from Seoin Intersection to Anseong Nonghyup around Jungang Market ▲both sides for 500m from Seokjeong Samgeori to Inji Intersection. The free parking lots during the Chuseok holiday are the structured public parking lots in Seoin, Dongbon, and Seokjeong-dong, as well as roadside parking lots around the traditional markets.

However, the city stated that the six major illegal parking enforcement zones subject to reports via the resident reporting app (Safe Report) operated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety?namely ▲crosswalks ▲bus stops ▲intersections and corners ▲fire hydrants ▲children protection zones ▲sidewalks?are excluded from the enforcement suspension.

During the suspension period, the city plans to cooperate with the Anseong Police Station to focus on guidance and education to ensure smooth vehicle traffic.

Kim Bora, mayor of Anseong City, said, "We hope that the suspension of parking enforcement will revitalize traditional markets and ease the difficulties of merchants even a little," and urged, "Please make efforts so that this Chuseok holiday can be one of mutual consideration and understanding through mature civic awareness."
