On the 30th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will hold the 'Chuyangjeog Anseong Travel Autumn Sale Festa' for two months from next month to October to welcome the autumn season for tourists.
This event combines major tourist attractions in the Anseong area with local businesses, agricultural product promotions, and large-scale stores. During the event period, visitors to Anseong can enjoy discounts that combine various tourist spots and local businesses, as well as benefits such as Anseong rice and Starfield gift vouchers.
Visitors need to visit one designated Anseong tourist spot and two discount-providing businesses, then verify the mission with photos and receipts on the Festa website.
Tourists who are not Anseong residents will receive 4kg of Anseong rice and a 5,000 KRW cafe voucher for Starfield Anseong. If Anseong residents complete the same verification as tourists, they will receive a 5,000 KRW F&B voucher for Starfield Anseong.
The Festa participating businesses include a total of 48 locations: 8 accommodations, 16 restaurants, and 24 cafes & dessert shops. Details on discounts, services provided by each business, and event participation methods can be found on the dedicated 'Chuyangjeog Anseong Travel Autumn Sale Festa' website.
Meanwhile, from the 3rd to the 9th of next month, the 'Anseong World Soft Tennis Championship' will be held at the Anseong Matchum Soft Tennis Stadium during the Festa period. Following that, from October 3rd, the representative festival of the Anseong area, the 'Anseong Matchum Namsadang Baudeogi Festival,' will take place at Anseong Matchum Land and along the Anseongcheon area.
A city official said, "We will do our best to ensure that this Festa becomes an event that appeals to the tastes of both tourists and citizens."
