Lee Dongjun, CEO of Ilwoo General Development, Appointed as 51st President

AMP 56th Class, Donates 10 Million Won Development Fund

Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) announced on the 30th that the 'Graduate School of Business Administration Advanced Management Program (AMP) Alumni Association 2024 Regular General Meeting and President Inauguration Ceremony' was successfully held on the 29th at the Grand Ballroom on the first floor of the Busan Commodore Hotel.

The event was attended by President Lee, Dean Choi Kyuhwan of the Graduate School of Business Administration, Hong Cheolwoo, President of the Graduate School of Business Administration Presidents' Council, faculty members, AMP alumni, and current students.

On this day, Lee Dongjun (56th class), CEO of Ilwoo General Development, was inaugurated as the 51st President of the AMP Alumni Association, and all members of the 56th AMP class donated 10 million KRW to the Dong-A University Development Fund.

In his inauguration speech, President Lee stated, "Each and every alumnus, who are top leaders in various companies and industries in the local community, is the pride of the Dong-A University Graduate School of Business Administration AMP Alumni Association. When our human network and exchanges, which are assets for all of us, become more active, the status of the alumni association and the development of our alma mater will be further strengthened," and added, "I will do my best to live up to the expectations of past presidents and alumni who entrusted me with the 51st presidency and to continue the reputation of the AMP Alumni Association."

President Lee expressed his gratitude in a congratulatory speech, saying, "I sincerely thank President Sung Kijin for his hard work in contributing greatly to the unity of the AMP Alumni Association during his term, and I believe that the newly inaugurated President Lee Dongjun will demonstrate excellent leadership and lead the association to even greater unity. The support of AMP alumni will be a great strength on the path to becoming a world-class university, and I ask for your continued interest and support in the future."

On this day, Sung Kijin (CEO of Dongmyung Industry), the 50th AMP Alumni President, Secretary-General Yoo Kyungyeol, and Treasurer-General Kim Mihui received the 'President's Achievement Award,' while Hwang Dongkyung (CEO of Sungjin Industry), the 43rd AMP Alumni President, received the 'Proud Business Leader Award.'

Additionally, Lee Taeho, President of the 55th class, and Vice President Lim Jeongtaek received the 'AMP Alumni President's Achievement Award,' and Ok Kimun, the 46th AMP Alumni President, received the 'Proud Senior Award.'

Since its establishment in 1969, Dong-A University's AMP has produced over 3,200 alumni. The program provides specialized knowledge in politics, economics, society, international relations, culture and arts, leadership, and the global environment that top executives should possess, nurturing business leaders who can proactively respond to the rapidly changing management environment.

The Dong-A University Graduate School of Business AMP Alumni Association is holding the 2024 regular general meeting and the inauguration and retirement ceremony of the president, followed by a commemorative photo session.
