◆EnjoyGO= Cascadia GC is a high-end golf & resort. It features a restrained harmony between nature and architecture. The signature golf course, combining beautiful scenery with strategic elements, is impressive. Cascadia GC boasts a high-quality playing environment. The course is meticulously maintained with creeping bentgrass. The greens operate a ‘sub-air system’ with heating and cooling, maintaining consistent green speed throughout the year. Perfect greens always lead to pleasant putting experiences. The landscaping, designed to allow enjoyment of the natural scenery in every season, is also noteworthy. A separate landscaping team operates independently from course maintenance.

◆SeeGO= You only need to wait a month. You can visit the Hongcheon Ginkgo Forest. It is a representative autumn attraction in the Hongcheon area. Every October, it is open to the public for one month. It is a forest cultivated by an individual for 30 years. It began to gain popularity through word of mouth starting in 2010. After hearing about the efficacy of Sambong Mineral Water, a natural spring from Odaesan, the husband personally planted each tree for his wife’s health. The Hongcheon Ginkgo Forest has about 2,000 ginkgo trees spaced 5 meters apart. The yellow ginkgo leaves create a spectacular scene. It usually opens in October, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Since it is private property, the opening schedule may change depending on the owner’s circumstances.

Near the Hongcheon Ginkgo Forest is Sambong Mineral Water, one of the nine scenic spots of Hongcheon. It is located inside Sambong Natural Recreation Forest. Sambong Mineral Water was designated as Natural Monument No. 530 in 2011. It is considered one of Korea’s three major mineral waters. It contains iron, manganese, fluoride, and carbonic acid and is known to be effective for digestive disorders, anemia, and neuralgia. Sambong Natural Recreation Forest features a harmony of coniferous and broadleaf trees. You can also see species that only inhabit first-class water, such as the Korean trout, salamanders, and fireflies. It is nice to stop by to taste the mineral water and enjoy a walk. Various accommodations such as hanok, cabins, and campgrounds are also available nearby.
