Naver Clip Launches Second Half "Clip Correspondent Challenge"... "Recording Everyday Life with Short-Form Videos"

Naver Clip will hold the "Clip Correspondent Challenge" in the second half of this year.

According to Naver on August 30, this challenge will run from September 1 to December 31. Reflecting the trends of the MZ generation, the scope of creation has been expanded to include not only domestic but also overseas landmarks. In the first half of the year, the previous Correspondent Challenge saw participation from about 8,000 channels, resulting in a total of 210,000 clips introducing various locations and receiving a positive response.

This challenge will be held in a total of eight rounds, with the theme changing every 15 days. The first round's theme is "Campus Life vs. Office Life," and the second round is "Domestic Travel vs. Overseas Travel." Participants can choose one of the two themes provided for each round or participate in both.

Participating in the challenge is simple. Participants need to visit two locations that fit the theme and upload two clips introducing those locations via the Naver TV or Blog application. When uploading, they must use the location sticker and the hashtag (#클파원챌린지).

Naver has simplified the process of creating a Naver TV channel so that anyone can participate in the second half Correspondent Challenge. Now, anyone can start creating content by opening a Naver TV channel without any separate approval process.

Participants who complete the challenge missions will receive benefits of up to 75,000 won per round, and Naver Clip plans to hold an end-of-year awards event for channels that complete missions in four or more rounds, offering benefits of up to 1.6 million won.

Kim Ahyoung, leader of Naver Clip, said, "Through the Correspondent Challenge, we hope more creators will record their daily lives in short-form videos, and that users will experience greater convenience by being able to visit, make reservations, or purchase tickets through the 'location stickers' featured in the videos."
