Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Selects 14 Outstanding Organizations for Regional Economic Revitalization

The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 29th that it has selected 14 institutions, including Yeonggwang Education Support Office and Jeillo Kindergarten, as the '2024 Outstanding Institutions for Regional Economic Revitalization.'

Since 2021, the 'Outstanding Institutions for Regional Economic Revitalization' program has been recognizing kindergartens, schools, affiliated institutions, and education support offices within the province that have supported small business owners in overcoming management crises and contributed to revitalizing the regional economy.

This year, the top institutions selected were ▲Yeonggwang Education Support Office ▲Jeillo Kindergarten. Additionally, excellent institutions included ▲Mokpo Education Support Office ▲Jeonnam Gwangyang Lifelong Education Center ▲Jimyeong High School, among others.

Park Young-su, Director of the Administration Bureau, expressed, “We extend our deep gratitude to all educational communities that have cooperated for mutual growth between the region and educational institutions,” and added, “We will actively promote policies to overcome the population extinction crisis in the Jeonnam region and to revitalize the local economy and commercial districts.”
