Mobintech Visits Gyeongbuk National University Institute of Semiconductor Convergence Technology

The Semiconductor Technology Master Training Project Group at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President: Kim Youngdo) conducted an industrial training program for companies in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region from the 22nd to the 23rd.

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Semiconductor Technology Officer Training Project Group Conducts Industrial Training in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam The Semiconductor Technology Officer Training Project Group at Dong-Eui University of Science is conducting industry training in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions.

The training, held at Mobaintech and the Semiconductor Convergence Technology Research Institute at Kyungpook National University, was organized to enhance participating students' understanding of companies and semiconductor-related job roles through on-site industrial experience.

The training was attended by 44 second- and third-year high school students (from Daekwang High School and Dong-Eui High School) participating in the Semiconductor Technology Master Training Project Group, as well as 7 supervisors including teachers from the respective high schools and professors from the Department of Semiconductor Electronics Industry.

On the first day, the 22nd, participants visited Mobaintech to observe the entire process from mobile phone assembly to packaging using cutting-edge equipment. On the 23rd, they visited the Semiconductor Convergence Technology Research Institute at Kyungpook National University, where they attended a special lecture on semiconductors and learned about semiconductor equipment, devices, manufacturing processes, and related knowledge through hands-on experience.

The Technology Master Training Project aims to nurture outstanding professional technical talent who play a pivotal role in core industries such as automotive, machinery, electronics, and semiconductors through specialized high school, junior college, and industry-linked education. Since 2010, the project has operated industry-demand tailored curricula to cultivate professional technical personnel.

Kim Taehun, head of the Semiconductor Technology Master Training Project Group at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, said, "Through field trips to companies related to semiconductor equipment, participating students were able to learn basic knowledge about production facility construction and equipment operation sites, and the special lecture on semiconductors helped deepen their understanding of job roles. We will continue to strive to produce outstanding talent in semiconductor-related fields through the successful implementation of this project."

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology was selected as the Semiconductor Technology Master Training Project Group in 2022, with Daekwang High School and Dong-Eui High School participating as partner schools. The project is being operated in collaboration with 25 small and medium-sized enterprises, including Genesem and Hurim Robot.
