Yeongyang County Appoints Pisikdaehak as Public Relations Ambassador

On the 29th, Yeongyang County in North Gyeongsang Province will appoint three members of the online content creator group Psick Univ (Yongju Lee and two others) as Yeongyang County Public Relations Ambassadors at Seoul Plaza, where the 16th Yeongyang Gochu H.O.T Festival will be held.

Psick Univ, known for its flagship content "Psick Univ - Psick Show," won the Variety Show Award in the TV category at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards. They have created a new perception and value for YouTube, which was previously seen as merely an algorithm-driven platform, and are highly regarded both in Korea and abroad as active YouTubers.

Starting from their connection with Yeongyang County, Psick Univ has been uploading one Yeongyang County × Psick Univ content video every day for about two weeks leading up to and during the Yeongyang Gochu H.O.T Festival. Their creative and entertaining videos are drawing viewers' interest and encouraging participation in the festival, resulting in unprecedented promotional effects.

This appointment ceremony will be held prior to the opening of the 16th Yeongyang Gochu H.O.T Festival, and Psick Univ will continue to promote Yeongyang County's local specialties and festivals.

As "Ambassadors of Yeongyang County, the home of the nation's highest quality chili peppers," Psick Univ will promote local festivals, culture, and tourism resources, and strive to enhance the image and status of the county.
