Park Seung-ae, CEO of Jiranjigyo Soft, is speaking at a press conference held on the 29th at the Pangyo Infinity Tower.
Jiranjigyo Group announced on the 29th that it will embark on a new leap forward through artificial intelligence (AI) innovation, strengthening synergy among affiliates, and global expansion in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
At a press conference held at the Pangyo Infinity Tower on the same day, Jiranjigyo Group reviewed its achievements and unveiled its future vision for the next 30 years, 'NEXT 30.' Starting as a first-generation venture company in 1994, JiranjigyoSoft has grown into a leading domestic IT solutions group over 30 years. Beginning with just four employees at its founding, JiranjigyoSoft has developed into Jiranjigyo Group, consisting of 22 affiliates. As of last year, the group's total sales reached 100 billion KRW, with 700 employees.
Jiranjigyo Group is focusing on AI technology as its core growth engine, concentrating on advancing security solutions and developing innovative services. JiranjigyoSoft promotes 'With AI (AI Work Innovation),' Jiranjigyo Security emphasizes 'AI for Security,' and Jiranjigyo Data highlights 'Expanding with AI (AI-based Data Protection Expansion)' as their key messages.
The group plans to expand beyond traditional security domains into the business-to-business (B2B) Software as a Service (SaaS) market to provide a safe and convenient digital environment. This year, JiranjigyoSoft will actively advance AI-based collaboration solutions in partnership with NextIntelligence.ai (formerly NineFolders), whose shares it recently acquired.
Additionally, Jiranjigyo Group aims to enhance customer value by strengthening synergy among its affiliates. It plans to break down barriers between affiliates and establish a continuous collaboration system. The group will also introduce the 'Jiran Membership,' which enables cross-selling of services previously sold separately by affiliates through various partnerships.
Building on its experience entering the Japanese market, the group is accelerating its global business expansion. Key affiliates such as Jiranjigyo Security and Jiranjigyo Data are already using the Japanese market as a testbed for overseas operations. Through this, they plan to expand into new markets including the United States and the Asia-Pacific region.
Major affiliates are aligning with this vision. Park Seung-ae, CEO of JiranjigyoSoft, stated, "Jiranjigyo Group has steadily grown over the past 30 years, laying the foundation for a sustainable company. In the next 30 years, we will strengthen global competitiveness through AI technology innovation and maximize synergy among our 22 affiliates to provide greater value to customers."
She added, "We have stable support and infrastructure, systematic work processes, and by combining the strengths of startups such as creativity, autonomy, and rapid decision-making, we are building a strong organizational capability. This organizational strength provides great satisfaction to our members, serves as a significant competitive advantage when recruiting talent, and will be the driving force for creating a sustainable growth organization."
JiranjigyoSoft has adopted the B2B SaaS business as a new growth engine. It plans to officially launch the all-in-one work collaboration platform 'OfficeNext' next month, marking its full-scale entry into the B2B SaaS market.
Jiranjigyo Security will provide more powerful security solutions by internalizing AI technology. Jiranjigyo Data, a data protection specialist company, plans to expand its data and personal information protection areas using AI technology.
In addition, SSR, a company specializing in security vulnerability diagnosis and consulting, is pursuing strategic mergers and acquisitions to acquire capabilities such as AI. Jiranjigyo Challenges, the group's investment holding company, has selected 'open innovation' as a key growth strategy. Open innovation focuses on collaborating with various startups inside and outside the group to discover ideas and establish a co-growth roadmap that strengthens research and development (R&D) capabilities.
Founder Oh Chi-young, Chief Dream Officer (CDO) of JiranjigyoSoft, said, "I want to make this a place where not only I but also our dreams can come true. For sustainable growth, culture and healthy generational change are necessary, and I believe Jiranjigyo Group is currently achieving a healthy generational transition."
