CDC GOLF&SPORTS, operating the premium golf wear brand ‘Craig & Karl Golf,’ has officially opened stores at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido and Hyundai Department Store Pangyo.
The store at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido opened on Friday, August 16, featuring a DID object installation that artistically showcases the surrounding environment, providing a new visual experience. The media art and overall store SI are part of a collaborative project with the artists Craig & Karl, giving it special significance. According to officials, this store will serve as the flagship antenna shop for Craig & Karl Golf.
Additionally, Hyundai Department Store Pangyo is running a grab event with a wrapping vending machine directly illustrated by Craig & Karl. There is also a promotional event where customers who upload a photo verifying their visit to the store on SNS will receive a gift. A representative of Craig & Karl Golf stated, “This event marks the beginning of a new offline customer communication project for Craig & Karl Golf,” and added, “We plan to expand various forms of promotions in stores going forward.”
Unlike existing brands, Craig & Karl Golf is not a licensed brand but was created through collaboration with artists Craig Redman and Karl Maier, a pop art and illustrator duo. Currently, Craig Redman and Karl Maier are receiving global attention and engaging in various activities with worldwide brands such as LVMH, Apple, Prada, Nike, Vogue, and Adidas.
A representative of Craig & Karl Golf said, “The brand is celebrating its first anniversary. Moving forward, we aim to firmly establish brand awareness and actively enhance direct marketing with consumers. We also plan to introduce the brand to customers who value conscious consumption, offering new experiences and differentiated value.”
Craig & Karl Golf products are available at a total of 10 offline stores and the official online store.
