KB Asset Management announced on the 29th that it will serve as a guide for individual investors in exchange-traded fund (ETF) investments by hosting the ‘RISE ETF Pension Seminar.’
The 'Healthy Start to Pension Investment, RISE Pension Seminar,' held on the 24th of next month at the Fairmont Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, is open for free registration to any individual investor interested in pension investment through the ‘RISE ETF official website.’ Afterwards, 200 attendees will be selected through a lottery.
This seminar marks the first step of ‘RISE ETF’ to support the healthy pension investments of the public. It was planned with the goal of providing systematic pension education to investors.
In July, KB Asset Management renewed its ETF brand as ‘RISE’ and declared its commitment to helping individual investors make healthier pension investments. Recently, it also published a Japanese investment guidebook with the intention of continuously providing ETF investment education.
The first lecture of the seminar will be conducted by Kim Sung-il, head of the ‘UpRise Investment Advisory Pension Investment Research Institute’ and author of ‘Magic Pension Management.’ Under the theme ‘Receiving 5 Million KRW Monthly Pension Rent through ETF Asset Allocation,’ he will explain ETF pension asset allocation strategies, how to set up a second salary using distributions, and pension-related tax issues.
Following this, a lecture will be given by YouTuber Seo Daeri, who runs the pension investment specialized YouTube channel ‘Seo Daeri TV.’ Seo Daeri has authored pension-related books such as ‘For Those Who Find Saving Frustrating but Investing Scary.’ In this lecture, he will explain, based on his own experience, how to design cash flow using ETFs after retirement and how to select ETFs suitable for pension investment.
Kim Chan-young, head of the ETF Business Division at KB Asset Management, said, “The utilization of ETF products is increasing rapidly in the growing pension market,” adding, “We will continue to provide online and offline education to help individual investors understand pension investment and guide them through the RISE ETF website, blog, and KakaoTalk channel.”
