Exploring the Perfumer Profession: Perfume-Making Experience

Are you dreaming of becoming a perfumer? A perfumer is a professional who distinguishes scents and creates perfumes.

On the 29th at 7 PM, Ulsan City will hold a perfumer career exploration and fragrance experience class for 50 young people at the education center on the 4th floor of the Traditional Market Support Center.

This program is part of the "Youth Growth Support Project," which aims to nurture and encourage the dreams of young people by offering an opportunity to explore the world of perfumers, a highly preferred and popular profession among hobbies.

The class will invite a local fragrance expert to guide participants through the process of obtaining qualifications and share job and entrepreneurship cases in the field. Participants will also explore various types of scents and practice perfume making to discover fragrances that suit them best.

An official from Ulsan City stated, "We have prepared this educational program to motivate young people to become more proactive and to help them find their own unique identity," adding, "We will continue to provide well-prepared lectures on interesting topics tailored to diverse needs."

Earlier this year, as part of the Youth Growth Support Project, Ulsan City offered a healthy home-cooked meal class for single-person households, helping them manage their health and prepare for cooking-related certifications, as well as providing career exploration education on jobs and entrepreneurship in related fields.

Additionally, participants learned about basic financial knowledge such as savings, funds, and investments, analyzed consumption habits for customized financial management, and studied real-life cases of financial fraud, including cryptocurrency, loans, and illegal use of credit cards. The program also covered how to respond to various types of fraud, such as being tricked into acting as a money mule for voice phishing scams through fake job ads.

Ulsan City plans to offer even more diverse and enriching lectures and educational programs in the future, including training courses for handmade pet snack experts.
