Yecheon County (Governor Kim Hakdong) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the 28th at the county office with Stanford Hotel Andong Co., Ltd. for industry-government linked lifelong education projects and local job creation.
Through this agreement, Yecheon County will begin full-scale cooperative activities to expand employment opportunities for local residents.
The main content of the agreement is that Yecheon County will establish job creation policies and educational plans, focus on training professionals to meet corporate needs, while Stanford Hotel Andong Co., Ltd. will provide training venues for trainees and give priority hiring opportunities to graduates, thereby supporting local talent job creation.
Previously, as part of the 2024 new lifelong learning city designation project, Yecheon County operated a "Hotel Room Manager Training Course" from May to July, providing substantial theoretical and practical job-related education, resulting in the achievement of 7 out of 12 graduates successfully joining Stanford Hotel Andong Co., Ltd.
Kim Hakdong, Governor of Yecheon County, said, "With this agreement, I expect the cooperation between Yecheon County and Stanford Hotel Andong Co., Ltd. will greatly contribute to revitalizing the local economy, and we will continue to do our best to provide stable and sustainable jobs for local residents."
