Designer Brand 'July Column' Unveils Zero-Waste Runway
Samdasoo Sponsors 20,000 Bottles and Promotes Resource Circulation Activities
Jeju Development Corporation, which produces and distributes Jeju Samdasoo, announced on the 28th that it will carry out the resource circulation project 'New Turn with Cycle' together with Seoul Fashion Week hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
Jeju Development Corporation, as an official partner company, will sponsor 20,000 label-free bottles of Jeju Samdasoo Green for 'Seoul Fashion Week 2025 S/S' and plans to install and operate transparent PET bottle collection bins to practice resource circulation. The PET bottles collected through this project will be reborn as eco-friendly Jeju Samdasoo goods, adding meaning to resource circulation.
In particular, Jeju Samdasoo will collaborate with the designer brand 'July Column,' participating in this fashion week, to present a zero-waste collection. The collection, which fuses recycled fibers made from discarded PET bottles supported by Jeju Samdasoo and the designer's deadstock materials, will be unveiled on the runway on the 4th of next month. Following Seoul Fashion Week, the collection will also be introduced as clothing, bags, and accessories through a kickoff exhibition at Milan Fashion Week.
Baek Kyung-hoon, president of Jeju Development Corporation, said, "It is deeply meaningful to engage in eco-friendly resource circulation activities together with Seoul Fashion Week, which has a significant influence in the global fashion industry," and added, "Jeju Samdasoo will continue to strive to raise awareness of the importance of resource circulation by collaborating with various industries."
